Maxiner Posted January 6, 2007 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 My stitch regulator has been naughty since day one it will not stay adjusted for mor than an hour and the back guage has a big black smear and does not work. today suddenly when I pressed needle down it just kept going up and down and the only way it stopped was to shut off the power. Many times the display does not work(no needle shows ) and after turning the powere off and on several times (up to 20) it suddenly works. I am familiar with adjusting the pot but feel that it should not have to be adjusted so frequently. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have seen the black smear you are referring to on your display and that points to damage during shipping. You can still run your machine but it can and should be replaced. It is an easy fix but should be something that is covered under warentee. You may also have some issues with your Mother board. Don't hesitate to contact someone as soon as possible.
