Zoe Larkin
Hi everyone-curious if anyone has used thinsulate in quilts...what loft/level of thinsulate you use, is it alot warmer, do customers want it, how about a source? Thanks. I've enjoyed everyone's comments/suggestions. Look forward to hearing from you. Zoe
Guest Linda S
I've used thinsulate on a couple of the T-shirt quilts I have done for customers. One of the big pluses of this bat (besides the fact that it quilts up beautifully) is that it can be quilted up to 10" apart, so if you have a quilt with lots of open area (i.e., t-shirts, embroidered blocks) that you don't want to quilt over, it is a great choice. It is not terribly heavy and I think is supposed to adjust to body warmth. I have a thinsulate jacket that I love. I have bought it by the roll from Big Horn Quilts and just bought a case wholesale from Checker Distributors. Linda
