bstucker Posted March 12, 2005 Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 If anyone is wondering how well the new wheels and axles perform, I have one word: FANTASTIC!! I installed mine in under an hour, and can't believe how much they have improved my quilting. After three years, I still had flat places on my curves, and we won't even discuss my feathers....but now, that baby glides smoothly wherever I want it to go. I can accurately follow stencil lines, smoothly outline applique and am even starting to like the looks of my feathers. The kit includes wheels, axels, encoder, and padded washers for the carriage. I feel like I don't have to muscle the machine around so much. It floats! Don't know what those new wheels are made of, but I think they have some clouds or something in them.
