bestfriendsquiltshoppe
I'm not sure if the stitch regulator isn't really working or if it's something else. The problem is that I'll be quilting (with the stitch regulator on) and it'll be working fine, then all of a sudden it takes a bunch of big stitches, then it goes back to normal. Is this a timing problem? Is this something I can fix myself or do I have to have someone come in and service the machine? ~Katy

Polly
Katy, Either your adjusting wheels are too loose, or you need to adjust the little black wheels on the encoders. I adjusted both of these on my machine and the problem was resolved. Check out Connie's Top 10 Tech Support Questions, #8 for instructions. bestfriendsquiltshoppe
Thank you, I looked at the wheel and there was a bunch of thread wrapped around it. I'll make sure we're taking the cone off the back when we're quilting with smaller spools on the top. ~Katy
