quiltaholi_518
Hi all, this is text from another group, Irena Bluhm's quilt is missing/stolen and her work is so distinctive that I can't imagine anyone would think they could get away with calling it theirs. Please spread the word and perhaps our network of quilters can help her..... Hello everyone, One of my show quilts, nine awards winner is missing for over 2 months. It has been last exhibited at HMQS in Salt Lake City from May 8th-May 10th 2008. The situation looks rather hopeless, as not only I have no insurance[my fault], but I have no copy of an adequate or specific record of the return shipping. There is not much that can be done in that case, except for being sorry. The only reason I am posting the bad news anywhere I can, is an attempt of getting the word out and making everybody aware of a loss. It can happen to anyone. I wish to remind you about the urgency and a need of protecting yourself from a loss like that the best you can, because all you may get could be a lot of sorry excuses, if you don't have anything in your hands. I already have done whatever I could, as my hands are tied having no adequate or specific record of return shipping.
