remrn Posted November 22, 2005 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 I have never used Metallic Thread before and my friend wants to try it out on a Quilt she is doing as a Christmas Gift. Needless to say I'm a little nervous and would like some advice. I have a spool of Rheingold No. 40 and would like to know what do I use in the bobbin? Any advice on tension? I have been running the Rheingold Metallic all day even using using it to couch on Razzle Dazzle and I have not had one break. I have a 3.5 needle in.
