zeke
I made this bobbin winder. It's on a piece of oak wood with 4 feet to reduce movements. It will wind the standard or M class bobbins with minor adjustments. Asking $135. Zeke. Ps. I'll pay the freight charges.
Cagey
Zeke: Is your friction drive on the motor drive shaft that the fly wheel rubs agains an O-ring glued there? Cagey
zeke
Nope, just sits there. It's called a wire grommet. I'll be supplying two extras with the winder. When it wears out it will simply fly off the motor. Then you just replace with a new one. They can be bought in a package at radio shack or at any hardware store. Zeke. Cagey
Zeke: Thank you for the information. I would not have thought of using a grommet to spin the flywheel. Take care, and Happy Easter. Cagey
