elkayr
I did a search & didn't find anything. My vertical channel lock moves about 1/8" over to the left when I get about 10" from the belly bar. This happens on both sides of the quilt when I'm stabilizing the edges of the quilt. I've tried to figure out what's causing it but no luck so far. Any ideas?
DawnCavanaugh
Linda, When you say "vertical channel lock" it really means that you are able to move the machine left and right because the vertical direction is "locked". Before I answer your question, do you really mean your "horizontal lock" is the one that moves a bit? (It would allow you to only move the machine forward and backward as the horizontal direction is "locked".) If you really mean your horizontal lock is wandering, check to see that you don't have any rough spots or nicks in the carriage edges where the wheels run. In addition, check to see that none of the encoder cords are restricting your movement when you reach that spot.
elkayr
You're right. I was talking about horizontal. Thanks, I'll check those things out.
