  1. The thread cutter was forever bumping my clamps on the left side as well. I am really glad I removed it.
  2. I already found a used Hartley base that is for one without the thread cutter and removed the thread cutter this morning. It was actually very easy to take off and since I never use it, was in the way. Especially when using rulers. The cover over it always tips my ruler at a slight angle making it more awkward to use.
  3. Is this still available and is the price negotiable? Also I am in Canada.....
  4. Hey folks, I am thinking about removing my thread cutter from my 2003 Millie. I never use it and it is always full of dust and is basically useless to me. Is there a down side? Also if I remove it will the Gen 4 Hartley base fit on it? Thanks for any insights you might have.
  5. I am asking $1000 Canadian plus shipping for the whole kit plus all the boards that I have. Here is the list. Boards. Featherz ($89), Featherz border ($69), Starz ($69), Stella ($69), 18" Crosshatch ($109), Spirals ($69), Sunburst 14 ($119). Giant boards. These are all king so there are 3 of each pattern and each pattern is worth $339. Water, Baptist Fans, Clamshells, 7 Treasures of Buddah, Swirls, Daisy, Cosmos.
  6. Circle Lord system for sale. Will sell everything below for $1000 Canadian plus shipping costs or best offer plus shipping. I only do free motion and ruler work and do not use the system although I have tried it out and it all works. Full system with stylus.
  7. I found one here in Canada for a good price. Works like a charm.
  8. I am looking for a hobby 1200 Grandquilter. If anyone still has one available.
  9. Got this reply back when I asked. "With the age of your machine and the style of gearbox, it is not recommended to use the bigger bobbin. The hook size is much heavier and the bobbin only holds ½ more bobbin and the gearbox shaft wasn’t designed to hold that size of bobbin" I may still try it in the future but for now will stick with the L size. Unless someone else tries it first and it works for them.
  10. Thanks for that info. I will see if it is possible for my machine. I spend a lot of time winding bobbins!
  11. I would love to do this also but I think it is about 3000 dollars so I am using my L size.
  12. SOLD I have a Pfaff Hobby 1200 grand quilter on a hand crafted wooden frame. New Brunswick, Canada. mail@lakeviewgoldenshelties.com
