Hi all. I have a question about quilting on batik fabric. I have a quilt with sashing and borders of batik fabric. When sewing I hear a popping noise when the needle is going thru the batik fabric. I have changed the needle but didn't help. Needle is 18 with the R on the package which I read was the recommended needle and size. Anyone else experienced this?
