geri
If I were to retro fit my ULT 1 with an after market computerized system would I still be able to have my machine repaired by APQS if it was needed????
DawnCavanaugh
Geri, It kind of depends on the product. Some computerized systems "gut" the machine to install their own technology, while others use the existing wiring to add to or build on. Call Mark or Amy on Monday at the factory to verify the answer.
Cheryll
Just be careful not to invest too much money so that the cost of your machine is more than anyone would want to pay for an aftermarket system. If you want a stitch regulated machine it might be better to sell yours and get a used certified Millie. Then you get the nice motorized advance table which is wonderful. The used machines save a lot of money and there are a few for sale here too.
