Cheryll
I have recently purchased a used 10 year old Ultimate 2. It seems to purr along even with the novice operator. I'd love to hear any tips or suggestions for getting along with the machine. I have a funny idea you know how they say don't go to bed mad when you're married well I'm going to add don't go to bed mad at your machine. I was working with metallic thread last night and I had a few blips but I didn't go to bed until all was well. Ha Ha Cheryll in Idaho:)
chickenscratch
Gosh Cheryll, You're pretty ambitious to be using metallic threads right away. I'm still trying to get my Ultimate II to agree with different weight cottons and polyesters. I love my machine also, but I do wish it had a stitch regulator. My only advice is play, play, play. Have fun and don't worry about the results until you are totally comfortable with your machine. Teresa
