Betsy
Patty, your studio is fabulous! (I just looked on your website) I'm interested in this flooring discussion too as I'm moving my quilting space from the bedroom where it is now to the upstairs family room. A little smaller square footage but I think a better space because it doesn't have the sloped ceilings. I won't have any windows though. (I just have one tiny window now) MY husband said he can widen the door into the hallway and put french doors in and we'll put an interior window in to let in some light from the window in the hallway. Anyway.....we're going to pull out the yucky berber carpet and put in another floor. The cork sounds really interesting....
Betsy
I just had a thought...maybe I could put up a mural with a nice sunny beach scene. sigh.....a window would be better.
Bekah
Betsy I hear you , I have a metal building with no windows and it is like quilting in a cave. We put french doors in but most of the time we have the big metal shop door closed as we live in kind of a bad neighborhood so don't like my studio so exposed to the outside world. only good thing is when it rains I get to hear the sound of raindrops on my metal roof
