Quilta Sista
Hi. Is it ok to use a standard needle? Or is there something better someone can suggest. If so, where to order it from? Thank you for this forum.
ffq-lar
Hi Sista! I have used a 3.5 on silk. It is slightly smaller than the 4.0 recommended by APQS and works well. I used So Fine, BottomLine and Monolon with good results. Needles can be purchased from www.columbiariverquilting.com and John Mitchell from Country Lane (here on the chat forum) has several offerings you may like, and he is great to deal with. www.countrylanequilting.com
