lsequilter Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 Hello All, I have a quilt I am making for a VERY dear friend who operates a bed and breakfast in South Carolina (I'm in Michigan). When I last visited her she gave me a kit from a shop hop she happened upon that had 6-1/2" Cut 30's style prints and a vague idea of what to do with them. I arranged them in a color wave. I am adding a off white border. The border will be embroidered with the name of the bed and breakfast, so it can be seen on the sides of the bed. Now to my question... I intend to cross hatch the border and use my Circle Lord blad fan to do a Baptist Fan in the body of the quilt. The squares are 6" inch finished. What spacing do you suggest between the fans.
