Busy Quilting Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 You asked what are the uses for EQ7. I use EQ6 mainly for designing quilts. I am really looking forward to EQ7 as I can see a lot of possibilities for my pattern designing. This afternoon I have designed different quilts using the same three blocks that I drew. I am designing a series of quilts around the theme of windows. We are making these into patterns and selling them at the LQS. So in the space of this afternoon I designed 2 lap quilts, 3 different single bed size quilts, I ended up only choosing 1 of each and I kept on playing with different colourways/fabrics I had in my stash to find the ones I really liked. I have printed out a finished picture and tomorrow will take it with me to my Husband's hockey match and write the sewing instructions. Can be very addictive.
