MQS Thoughts

Recommended Posts

I had 3 wonderful days of several classes, volunteering and being a Teacher's Angel at MQS last week. The only negative was being in a hands-on demo class for 4 hours with only 5 machines and 40 students. We each had a total of 10 minutes on a machine. Needless to say the sampler hardly got touched. I felt bad for the teacher (she is great) but someone definitely dropped the ball on the ratio of machines and students.

My favorite teacher was Pam Clarke--learned so much and she is so personable. Also, enjoyed Kim Brunner class. I also ran into a gal that I had had a class with last year from CA and so we got re-connected. I highly recommend volunteering and being a TA--you get to meet so many wonderful people that way.

The quilts were so inspiring, so beautiful, so creative and it was fun to see who got the ribbons. Personally, all of them should had have ribbons!
