Anita Bidulka
I have a Ultimate I - new to me. The rotor hook has broken my needle. The needle position is good as the needle is coming back up the rotor hook hits it and will break the needle - how do I change this? Help please. I need to finish this quilt tonight and only have 3 rows left to do. Is there an adjustment? I've tried unscrewing the screws and seeing what it moves then tightening the screws again - I just can't figure it out.
quiltmonkey
Hi Anita, there are quite a few folks here that have the Ultimate 1 machine and they can help give advice. My question to you is, do you have a manual that shows instructions on how to retime your machine? If not, the APQS headquarters in DesMoines can send you an email with attachment that has good photos and instructions. You should give them a call first thing in the morning and ask for Amy or Christie; both are great to work with. Good luck!
