Guest LA
Thought of you Linda when Moda sent me this regarding Grommets, they look fun but not sure of the prices? Just when I got the groove on for using rick rack, here comes the grommets trend! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/photo.php?pid=282737&id=100000550181283

JustSewSimple
I have used them in curtains or shower curtains. Is someone using them in quilts?
Sandra Darlington
I made several of the Indigo Junction Grids and Grommets bags about a year and a half ago. It was a guild class and I made 2 bags for my daughter. One was the very large bag and she loved it to carry extra kiddie stuff, as well as her pile of stuff. I also made her a small zip bag to go in the large bag for her stuff, so it wouldn't be all over the bottom of the large bag with the diapers, etc. All her friends loved the smaller bag to use as a hand bag, but when I quoted a price, they went back to Walmart. Sandra Darlington
I just remembered one thing about making the large bag...we made the handles a bit wider, a bit longer, and put batting in them for extra stability. I also used a jelly roll (2.5" strips) plus yardage to make mine.
