Grammie Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 Cleaning machine and the bobbin area is clattering like the devil. Can't the the rattle to stop. What should I check? This is without the Bobbin in. Just running to warm up. It is pretty noticable. My machine has always been so quiet so I guess I'm worried. mark Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hi Grammie, If you oil the hook and the rattle is in the hook, that should quiet it down. Now if the rattle comes back fairly quick, then the hook may just be getting worn and might need replacing. I usually tell people if it still is making a good stitch, just listen and if the rattle gets worse then it's time to change Let us know how you come out.
