chickenscratch
HI, I need some help. I'm trying to create baptist fans on my rainbow log cabin quilt. I don't have a CL or HF. I'm using a concentric circles plastic template, which is working fine, except I can't figure out how to line up the fans. I looked at a bunch on webshots and it looks like the 4th arc of an 8 arc fan should hit the low spot of the row below. I did that and now on my third fan of the 2nd row I have a huge gap. It's almost a full half circle. What did I do wrong. I'm posting a picture. I hope you can see the marking lines. I wanted to get this marked today while I'm off. Bonnie
Teresa, It looks like your fans aren't laying far enough over to start out....here is a photo of one that I found of Sherry's and maybe that will help some...it looks like she used a CL or HF, but your template should work fine. http://community.webshots.com/photo/90643117/1331785209039190341sHpsqc# Hope this helps some.
