onesewise
This is the 1st quilt I quilted and had to RIP because the tension was too loose..but you ladies gave me some tension advise and it worked..also you told me where to get ideas for "the quilting",,,and I did! Just so you know...It's king Tut Sands of Time, and I marked with Crayola washable markers (brown). I didn't test 1st and so hoped it would wash out when i washed this am. I hung it to dry and will tumble dry it at some point. You can't see all the stitching (thank goodness!) I did, but you can see the rays given off! ps..the washable did come out! chickenscratch
Elaine, YOu are one brave soul. I would have never even thought to use Crayola marker on a quilt. I'm so glad it washed out. Your quilt is beautiful. Did you use a prepared pattern, or is this something you designed yourself? I would like to make one like it in blues and tans for my father.
