GERRY
That's what most of the LAers in my area charge:)
Stagecl
Geraldine, You are lucky cuz most LAers in my area start at .01 There is a lady in our area who only charges .008 per square inch and that is all she wants to charge. Is she busy...yes...obviously her prices are good. The drawback is that she doesn't have a large selection of pantos. Many quilters don't care....the cheaper the better...and yes, she does a nice job. Cheryl Mathre Stone Creek Quilting Sandy Hook, VA
GERRY
It's a shame that she is under cutting, I just started & I have been charging 1 cent per sq. inch, (my "training charge") but my price is going up in the new year, & I've talked to the other LAer in our guild, about under cutting her (at the moment) she under stands, she did the same thing, but to be fair, I will keep my prices in line with her's, until I can offer something far better than panto's.
