grannyju
I will be getting a round Christmas tree skirt with 8 scallops this week. Does anybody have tips on how to mount this on my Milli? I told the customer to leave the back square. So do I just lay the batting and top on and baste around the edge of the skirt and opening? Any advice would be very helpful. You guys are so smart.
Janice
I did just what you are planning to do. I just finished two tree skirts. I pinned them well all around the edges, machine basted and quilted. The two I did had stars on the tips so were pointed on the tips. I started in the center and worked my way out. I did allover in the center, a wreath in the stars, and on the red border I did hollly leaves & berries. It all went very smoothly. I am sure you are on the right track. Have fun.. grannyju
Thanks Janice, that gives me confidence. The customer just wants an allover simple design on this one so hopefully I'll have good results too. I get nervous trying new things sometimes.
