MarieBrewer
I am using IQ w/a Freedom. Too many times when I come to the end of a block the bobbin breaks so I can't pull the thread up to tie off and bury. Why is it breaking more often than not? Both tensions seem fine and I have tried slowing IQ, my reading is a speed of 1.1 and.9 with the Freedom set at 9. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks I have tried several different bobbin threads and the top is Omni.
micajah
Hi Marie, I discovered that when I am pulling up the bobbin thread, the take up lever needs to be at the highest point in the stroke, just like my domestic machine. If not, I have broken bobbin thread. See where your take lever is when you have the bobbin thread breaking. Debboe
