cvrchota
all of a sudden my thread cutter got stuck in the 'open' position--so my needle would hit it... so i turned off the machine and hit the 'cutter' button and it swung back to the left and is now stuck in that position... the 'cutter moter' keeps grinding like it wants to go further but can't because the blades are in the way... it's stuck.. i can't do anything-is there a way to remove the blade altogether so i can at least quilt? thanks for ANY help.... charla
cvrchota
is the thread cutter supposed to be on the right or left when in 'rest' position? i took the screws off and the 'arm' swung to the right and is staying there, but my needle still hits it... and my cutter 'button' doesn't do anything anymore...thanks
cvrchota
ok...santa's helper is back in business... i dont' know what happened, but i took out all the screws, removed the thread blades, the button started working, but then the needle started hitting the bobbin race--i fiddled with the needle pushing it way up in the shaft and that seemed to fix it... so i took that opportunity to clean and oil the bobbin area and now millie and happy again... and so will the piecers who are waiting for their christmas quilts!! thanks! charla
