Della
I have been reading about wonky borders here on the forum. Well, today I got my first REALLY wonky border! In fact, I think the whole thing was out of whack...lol...but I finally had to give up and take some tucks to get it lay down and come out close to even at the end. I will point the tucks out to the customer but they are hard to see so I don't think she will be upset. I just did not see any other way to do it. Thanks for preparing me for this quilt!!! sspingler
I've had very friendly borders too. No way you can avoid tucks unless you take the borders off and sew them on right. I was told to give it back to the customer and have them do it. If they didn't do it right the first time, what makes me think they will do it right a second time.
