bobbipatillo
My SIL's quilt has gone pretty well, Got to the bottom after doing the center and some of the inner border verticle lines. Rolled back to the top to begin doing the left and right outer borders (abour 6" wide). The backing fabric had gone very loose, like 2"-3" sag. It is a wide back from Joanns and was squared when we began. I think it is the backing fabric even though the center is fine. Would steaming work to shrink it back to flat? Should we turn the quilt so we have horizontal borders instead? Thanks for any ideas and solutions
Quilting Heidi
Just take a piece of batting and stuff it between the backer and the bar. It will take up the slack and you'll be fine.
