LauraJ
I'm going to be working on three quilts as of 9/1, where the customer wants all threads tied and buried. I was only charging them .035 psi for the custom work because they wanted lots of sid and linear designing but no mention of burying threads at the time of our initial meeting. These are not quilt show quilts but will be quilts shown in an "art show" at an artisan merchandising store and up for sale. How much psi would any of you recommend to charge now that they want threads buried? .05 or higher? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Much thanks! ffq-lar
$.06 or $.07, depending on how many you have to deal with. Lots of continuous designs with three buries per stitching field--$.06. More than that with thread color changes and freestanding designs-- $.07 or more.
