quiltingtina
I am a newbie. I am looking at different orgs to join, AQS, LQA, etc. Does anyone recommend others? Any NOT to join? What are the real benefits to joining for you? Is it worth it for my business to join? Thanks for your time. Tina
Guest LA
Hi Tina, Glad to have you here with us, this for starters is a great place to hang out! I belong to any & all quilt related organizations & quilt publications I can! You will benefits from all in my opinion! www.imqa.org is a great org to belong to, all about Long arm quilting & they have the largest LA machine quilting show in the United States. As well as MQX (Machine Quilters Exposition) that my friend Janet-Lee & Mary own, Quilting on the Water front by Helen Smith Stone, Innovations by Cindy Roth, Salt Lake has one coming up as well. Do a Google search & you can find them all! Welcome to our Forum!!

Sandra Darlington
I am rather new to the wide world of quilters, but I did join AQS last month and will be taking 4 classes in Paducah in April. I also belong to a local quilt guild (although I don't know if that counts as an answer to your question).
