countrylanequilting Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 DeLoa Jones Workshops Join the FUN in two separate Hands On Workshops with DeLoa Jones April 20 and 21, 2007 April 20, 2007, Hands on Workshop - "You're Invited to a Block Party" This hands on the machine class was inspired by DeLoa's new book, "Quilting It up a Notch, Continuous Curves". We will explore a variety of ways to quilt a block, beginning with 'stitching in the ditch' and partying all the way through to 'continuous curve'. The overall object of our "party" is to discover and practice numerous designs for our blocks with only ONE stop and start! April 21, 2007, Hands on Workshop - "Brilliant Borders and Spectacular Sashings" Tired of the using the same old pantographs and stencils in your borders? Tired of turning quilts to complete side borders? This class will be a full day class in two-parts. It will have Part 1 in the morning and part 2 in the afternoon. Once again, this workshop will be a hands on the machine class!
