Carathren
Okay guys. Was quilting along fine, went back and checked again and found eyelashes. Please explain to me again the different between eyelashes & railroad tracks in terms of what to do with the tension? I just can't seem to get this right. Thanks so much. ClaudiaPfeil
Hi, This is Mark from APQS. I am in Germany right now and on Claudia's computer. Railroad tracks is when the bobbin thread is just lay on the back and isn't being pulled up in the quilt..the bobbin tension is too tight. Eyelashes would be where the bobbin thread and the top thread are pulling away from each other on a curve..this is caused by the bobbin tension being too loose. Hope that makes sense and helps! Good luck!
