I had been working on a rather large quilt that was set on point, and I had managed to elongate the top. Ended up adding additional lenght to the backing to compensate ....long but successful story...anyway, when I got ready to finish that last pass my stitches were skipping, and I think my SR was cutting out. Several suggestions later I am up and running just fine. I think it was the needle. It may have been the tension on the quilt, but it is finished, bound and wrapped!!
