BethDurand Posted February 25, 2007 Report Share Posted February 25, 2007 Can anyone explain why a pre-wound bobbin worked great, but then I ran out of that. I wound the exact same color of thread on a metal bobbin, but now I can't get the bobbin tension tight enough. I'm using bottom line in the bobbin and Rainbows in the top. Worked beautifully for about 30", then when I put in the new bobbin all heck broke loose. I'm frogging, but ready to go and walk the dogs. I think that I thought I was seeing pokies on top, so tried to tighten the bobbin, and loosen the top tension. After stitching for too long, I looked at the back. It wasn't pretty.
