Marion Posted March 27, 2007 Report Share Posted March 27, 2007 I made muslin strips that I attached velcro to. One I sewed to the roller leaders (the hook side). The other the loop side I either chain stitch or use long stitches with weak thread to attach to the quilt top and the backing. I have done several quilts on the Mega Quilter this way. My problem is sometimes I have the right side up on the backing and have to turn it upside down so it is correct. This is just if it is a print (which is better for me and all my mistakes) With the velcro it doesn't matter to much as you just pull it off and turn it over till you get it right.
