MODEN Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 :oI hear you all taking about zippers, what are they, apart from being zippers. How do they relate to making a quilt or quilting? This is something new to me. I'll be getting my Freedom in about a week and it would be nice to know some of the things peculiar to long arm quilting.
Myrna Ficken Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Zippers are used to attach your quilt top to you leaders. Then you can zip your quilt off should you need to. Such as to look to see how a quilt is looking , you get tired of working on it and want ot work on something else, if you need to rip something out it make life easier.
