momofsix
This Pfaff Hobby 1200 Grand Quilter has only been owned by me. It has been well cared for and operates smoothly. This machine is straight stitch only and is semi commercial with a lot larger motor than a standard household machine. Can be picked up, or you can pay postage and handling and it can be shipped upon secured funds.Major features of the Pfaff Hobby 1200 Grand Quilter Preowned• Sews up to 1600 stitches per minute• Straight stitch only so you get a true straight stitch with no variance.• Telescopic thread stand• Speed Control• Built in scissor• Needle Up/Down• Side Load metal bobbin• Adjustable PressuerIncluded with this offer is• Pfaff Hobby 1200 machine• Foot Control• Power Cord• 2 Bobbins• Pack of needles• Standard Foot• Freemotion Foot• Copy of manual$550.00 (( I have been sewing for over 40 years and I can say that this is one of the best sewing machines that I have ever bought. It is a semi-industrial machine and goes through heavy or light fabric easily.))These machines do not have feed dogs that drop, so you cover them with a plate. I tried free-motion quilting with it and it was very nice. The power is certainly there for home decor fabrics and quilting. At the time I bought it, the walking foot did NOT come with the machine and it would be $100+ extra if purchased. Since they were sold out, hubby got that for me too, and it was shipped. Since it is extra. it isnt included in the price of the machine, but I will sell it for an additional $50.00.. It does also have the built in speed control, and can be used with a mechanical floating frame like a Grace frame.(not included)
kmomofsix
Good morning! I was wondering if this was still available? I have recently been given a Gracie frame and I am looking for a good machine that I can leave right on the frame. I currently own a Viking that also does embroidery so I don't want to have that on the frame. Could you tell me what the throat length is? I was looking at one on Ebay for $500 but it only comes with the foot pedal. No manual or extra accessories. P.S. I kind of like that we have very similar user names...lol

We would be glad to take it (with a foot you've ordered, if it's still available). A friend of mine is asking, since she have a similar frame and looking for a proper machine. And Evan, what about yours - does it have a foot or that's a machine only? Thanks in advance!
LoraMoser
I'm rather new to quilting and I have - Brother Project Runway PC420PRW 294-Stitch Professional It has everything I need at this point and everything I want (needle up/down, auto threader, auto thread cutter, enough decorative stitches, walking foot, fmq quilting foot). The throat size is 7 1/2" and the height 4 3/4". Now, granted I haven't done too much Free Motion quilting (FMQ) on it yet myself. Perhaps when I get better at that, then maybe I'll realize I want a different machine.
