Janice Jacobson
Hi. I posted this question in another chat (shhhh) so if some of you are reading this again or feel you are in the twigh-light zone in doing so... you are not. I am working on a stamped embroidery block quilt (20 blocks). Each block has a large medallion with embroidered flowers. The pattern provides dots a quarter inch around the embroidery. My question is this... is there a simple technique, tool, gadget or prayer to use to keep exactly 1/4 inch from the embroidery, thus on the dots. Any help would be greatly appretiated. jeri
Hi Jan, I seem to do quite a few of the embroidery block quilts. I don't bother trying to stay on the lines, usually I quilt it differently than it is stamped as most of those are geared to hand quilters. I don't have the last one I did posted except for a few of the blocks while I was working on it. It's under works in progress in my webshots albums. http://community.webshots.com/user/jerisstitchesintime jeri

The pics helped tremendously!!! I have my thinking cap on and will plan to do the same... just need to contact the customer. Jan
