at-ease404
Howdy...I am new to this qroup and need some help with two problems. I am in Houston, Texas. First, I have some antique quilts that have rust stains on them...some in the colors and some in the white part of the quilt. How do I remove them? Secondly, I am looking for someone in the Houston area who does quilt repairs...for example borders and some areas in the quilt that needs new material in the patterns. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at BPryor404@aol.com. I am thinking maybe I can visit a fabric shop and there "might" be a list of people who sew or repair quilts. Thanks a lot...
busybee
Rust or chemical reaction to box or paper. Over time this does happen. So does certain kind of plastics. Age is the ingredient for this. Spray on mixture of 2 Tbspoons of baking soda, Spray Vinagar and water mixture, works some times. Nita
