Sheila
I've been having this problem for a while but for some reason I'm just really noticing it and would like to have it corrected. When I stitch a straight line with the machine going in the direction from the front to the back the stitches are not straight, they look jagged. I've looked back at older panto quilts I've done and it's been doing it for some time, you can see when it hits that point of being a straight line in that one direction the stitches aren't smooth. I have done the following: 1. cleaned bobbin area with WD40 2. cleaned entire machine and oiled 3. tightened needle plate 4. checking timing 5. checked needle height 6. tested tension 7. replaced needle 8. checked hopping foot height 9. tried stitch regulator on and off Seems we've tried everything, can't think of what else to try. Any suggestions would be great. I have the Milli, about a year old. Thanks, Sheila

connie hurst
Hi Sheila, Make sure your hopping foot is only 1-business card off the needle plate in the lowest position (Using the hand-wheel) also, in your manuel under the timing section, check the needle depth (you should be able to see all the eye, and just a little silver above it) ( when needle is in the lowest position.. then continue on and check the other 2 steps for the timing.. Good Luck!!!!
