I want to move by lines over by 2 1/2 " each time. Where is my reference point. When I look at where it appears to be lined up on the table and move it 2 1/2 " my lines are only about 2" apart. PamelaA Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 Ann, I am not an expert on the Hartley Fence but I do have a copy of Myrna\'s DVD on using the fence. In it she notes that you cannot premark where your lines will be as the quilting will cause some shifting. She measures for each line just before stitching it. I hope this answers your question.
