I will be teaching a Beginner class on Saturday August 16th in Bowie MD (Washington D.C. area) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The class is geared towards people that know how to operate a long-arm or mid-arm and are interested in starting a business using the long-arm and/or want to learn more advanced techniques. You don't have to be an APQS owner to attend. The course will cover: - Starting a business - Thread, tension, batting - Deciding how to quilt a quilt - Dealing with problem quilts - Different methods for loading quilts - Pantographs - Borders - Stitching a block - Marking quilt designs - Ruler work Space is limited to 4 students.
