luv2qlt
A while back I read a post regarding the preparation of a quilt for long-arming. It was very detailed - wish I had printed it. Could someone help me find that? I am specifically looking for the size to make the quilt back - how many inches extra for the sides and top/bottom? Thank you so much for your help. PattyJo
Barbara, try googling Longarm quilters and most quilters with a website have a page of how to prepare your quilt. The rule that I usually go by is the back has to be 6" longer, 6" wider than the top, and the batting the same size as the back. But you can get some other ideas from the websites of other LA'rs.
