Carole H
My 2006 milly is giving problems. Sometimes my blue command button will not stop stitching when it is pressed, takes 3 or 4 attempts to stop machine. Does altering no.8 (or pot 402 for new boards) the answer, or does that alteration only apply to the yellow up down button? Getting desperate here with clients quilts piling up. Grateful for any suggestions.
RunningThreads
Touching any button except the command button should stop your machine so try touching a different button to rule out a defective blue button. If your needle keeps cycling at the same speed as the needle up/down then you probably need to adjust the #8 screw. If the #8 is set too fast the machine will overshoot the needle position sensor and try to stop at the next rotation but if it is too fast it goes around again and again. You can put your hand on the flywheel at create some drag after you tell it to stop and that usually works if it is only an occasional problem. Hope this helps Nigel
Beachside Quilter
Try your rear controls, also, to help isolate if it is your mushroom handle or another cause.
Carole H
Plays up on both sides of the machine, and not all the time, just intermittently.
Carole H
Just spoken to Brenda & Amy, looks as though it could be the little circuit board from my IQ that is causing the problems. Thank goodness I didn't touch the no.8 screw, that definitely only applies to problems with the yellow button for the up down working of the needle..
