QuilterMomma
Working to finish this asap. Need some help on how to quilt it. I want it drapeable, but if she passes before it really is used or the kids want to hang it on the wall, want it sturdy enough to do that. Thought of a feather panto but therre is the embroidery to think about, thought of line dancing with McTavish in embroidery blocks, but then the borders need to work as well and don't want it real heavy. I am stuck here. Yes, I need to get done this weekend and in mail to her. She may not have much longer and praying this will bless her.
pumpkinpatchquilter
I have no good quilting suggestions for you but I wanted to say the quilt is as beautiful as the sentiment. It will be treasured by her and her family no matter how you quilt it.
delld
It's a beautiful quilt! I would stitch in the ditch around the blocks. Fill in around the embroidery with echo or a filler design like a small stipple. curls, leaves or what ever you want to do. The pieced blocks would do Terry Twist or CC. An a simple design in the sashing. If you have leaves else where then leaves would work here to. Good luck! It will be cherished!!!
Bekah
I would just do a simple all over she can have it to cuddle in. It is a very special quilt and I am sure will be loved no matter what you put on it.
