sewingpup
Hi, I just noticed a small series of scratches on one of my rails near the end of the machine....I am not sure how they got there? Maybe a side clamp hit it? Anyway....can I fix this myself?...I did get some very fine sandpaper...I was thinking about trying that...but wanted to check with you folks first....otherwise I will call on Monday....thanks...Lin
Zora
Does it affect the operation of the machine? If not, leave them alone. I would not use sandpaper. Rubbing compound or fine steel wool maybe. Don't do anything without checking with APQS.
sewingpup
Thanks....I will wait until Monday to call and ask.....I can't tell if it is really affecting the machine or not as I don't have a large quilt on right now.....but I did notice a while back that the machine did not seem to move as smoothly a while back and I am thinking this may have been the cause.......and I did have problems with a jam a while back also.....that may have done something...but it did seem fine on the small quilt I just did....Lin
