Beautiful. I'm always impressed with anyone who can do feathers. I've yet to master feathers.

Once again, your quilting accentuates the piecing of the quilt.  How wide are those boarders with the flowing feathers?  They really tie in with the corner block that you feather quilted.

Just stopping in to share some progress as I'm so pleased with this so far!  Don't you love quilts where every stitch has you thrilled and excited to move on to the next portion?

It's so quiet around here as of late, where have all my quilting pals gone?

Well, no on the hairspray, so I ran down to the LQS and got some synthropol to try dabbing it .....I did talk to her and she was afraid that soaking the entire quilt with synthrpol would remove the crayon in all the blocks so we will try that, worse case scenario, she will re-do the  block and I will remove the bad one and appliqué it into the quilt and then requilt it....she was very gracious after she got over the shock and said she wouldn't loose any sleep over it but I said I would!

Congratulations on your new machine!!  When I discovered machine quilting - even at home on my sit down machine - it literally changed my life!!!  It's SO much fun and adds such a huge element to your quilt.  I cannot wait to see what you create!

Just finished my client Jane's quilt - she wanted feathers and curved cross hatch on her quilt!    I think I may have another of these coming my way next year so I'm already trying to think up something different!

This quilt is 100" x 100" and I used Bottom Line thread in both the top and bobbin...one layer of Wool (Hobbs Tuscany) was provided by the client.

I am new to the long arm and mid arm quilting.  I have been using my domestic machine for free motions quilting.  However !!!  Tomorrow I am going to the Shipshewana Indiana to the road show to pick out a machine.  I have made up my mind to buy.  just not sure which one. Right now, the George is my pick because I would like to sit down.  I am also accustom to moving the fabric.  Time will tell.  I am really excited about the class.

I finished this little quilt today. It was pieced by my hubby, Roger. I did the appliqué. Pattern is a discontinued Judy Niemeyer pattern called Gooseberry Garden.
