Mrs.A
Hi all. I'm Nancy Arseneault (Mrs. A) of Tucson AZ. With encouragement from Kenna and instructions from Shana, I have been trying to post photos of two quilts that will be part of the Houston show next month. So far, my computer skills have fallen short but I'm going to try again, another way, to post a pic. Cross your fingers! If you see a photo below, it is my quilt Happy, Happy, Happy which was accepted in the Traditional applique category. I found a block pattern I just loved (Country Whig Rose by Kim Diehl) and made nine blocks with invisible machine applique. Then I discovered that I liked the blocks better when set on point so I needed 4 more blocks. Didn't want to make any more of the complicated blocks so I simplified the extras. The vine border is original and the quilting (done before I got my apqs machine) is straight lines every 1/4 inch or so. Here goes...going to TRY to attach the photo now...
