Bonnie Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 I'm not sure what to do in the blocks themselves, but I think each side should be similar, yet different...sort of like I attached. This way it would give movement, but not be to busy...I like the idea of the feathers in the background, and maybe do the diamond border just SID, it looks small enough that you wouldn't need a lot of quilting, and then something simple in the outside border. LOL I was just going to do vertical lines on each side and then fill the box with something and diamond cross hatching looks great and they fit in so well with the border! My thinking was to do the two sides the same so it looked like the design was going around the box. You don't even have to do straight lines, just quilt a design in 3 rows around the box.
