Jhend
Has anyone tried using duck cloth for leaders other than canvas? Any reason why it wouldn't work? Thanks for your input.
miss jacque
I did use it on my Ken Quilt and it was fine. I did do one thing that really helped. before you put the leader on the machine sew a 1/4" seam line the whole length of the leader if will give you a pinning point. I also made a small vertical seam in the center to mark that point.
Jhend
Thank you Miss Jacque. I have a 14ft bed and I'm thinking of putting double leaders on in two different sizes. I haven't figured it out yet if it will work or not, but my thought is I don't always need such a wide leader so if I have another a small one on also, I could use that so it get that sag thing going. I'll wait for the %40 off at JoAnn's to buy the Duck Cloth as the extra leader.
